This piece started as a collection of loose marker sketches, then was scanned and composited in Photoshop. Originally done for Concept Design 2, but not included in that book, the idea was to feature an interesting ship having just set down on a landing pad well above a futuristic city. On the platform to the right you can see the pilot being greeted by someone, and waiting just up the stairs is a crowd of what looks to be zombies!
